I'll never forget the first time I saw Cam play kendama. It was at a battle in Seattle in 2014, and a crowd of people were staring at his kendama. He was performing tricks I'd only ever seen on video, one after the other. The way he performed them with such ease and precision was like being on another level. In addition to his incredible kendama skills, he's also one of the kindest people I've ever met. A few months after meeting him, we attended Dama in the D in Detroit. He was so kind, and I was thrilled to have him stay on his couch. By the time I left Detroit that weekend, I had added a new word to my vocabulary: Dunkersons. It truly sums up Cam's personality.
