Lotus Pyro
Lotus Pyro is the second design in the "Lotus Element Series."
It was inspired by fire, one of the four ancient elements.
"Fire is fast, unpredictable, and eye-catching. Enjoy the intense, fast-paced play that ignites your inner spark."
"The Element Shape is outstanding for tapping and bounces well on the kengadama. The balance and dimensions are perfect, making progress very smooth."
- Markus Lander
The spikes on your Element Ken may be shorter than average. This is intentional, and will settle into the correct position after a few days of use and the shaft naturally lowers. If you want to break them in more quickly, you can adjust the length by lightly filing down the area around the string holes.
Design (Pyro Design)
This design, inspired by the element of "fire," features three lines and a pattern in the center, providing exceptional tracking performance. The dark gradient on top and the Chinese character for "fire" help you instantly locate the bevel (ball hole) with your eyes. The large stripes and timing of the bevel rotation help you pinpoint the spike position. The central design and subtle gradient create a beautiful background color and accent.
Element Shape
This Lotus Pyro Kendama uses the newly developed "Lotus Element Shape." This is the second shape we have perfected after two years, 14 prototypes, and testing by four professionals.
Our greatest focus is balance. We pursued the ideal ratio of length, width, and height, and designed it to allow for quick switching between various styles of Kendama play. The kendama rotates on a perfect axis, making flip tricks a natural progression. It supports everything from flow, flip, stall, balance, lunar, and slinger tricks. On average, the Element Sarado (Sarado) is heavier than the Sword (Kendama), and is specifically tuned for ultra lunar tricks.
sword
Height : Slightly lower than the Sacred Shape. This height provides ample room for larger hands and makes tap and lunar playing easier.
Width : Narrow enough for easy slinging, yet wide enough to get a feel for flipping.
Ring : The shape fits naturally in your hand and doesn't interfere with the stall point. It has a grip that allows you to efficiently perform multiple flips, and it's easy to handle because it doesn't protrude too much.
Handle : The curve from the ring to the handle stall is designed to fit your thumb securely. There's also a recess to stabilize your thumb during juggles and late flips. The edge has a little extra grip for kenflips, making it easier to release quickly. The handle stall is sized to catch the Element Tama's bevel securely.
Base Cup Hole : The large hole makes lunar and tapping much easier, and produces a hollow sound when tapping.
plate body
Width : The Element Sarado is a rare 75.5mm wide, wider than 99% of current shapes, offering significant benefits for stalls, looners, and slings.
Stall : The wider wing also enlarges the stall point. The angle and cut further enhance the locking of the bird and stilt. The Element bevel fits snugly into the stall point, and you'll feel the immediate stability when you pull up the wing.
Cup : The difference between the large and small plates is minimized, improving the overall balance. The small plate looks great.
Cut : Visible cuts provide a firm grip when slinging and support quick rotations.
Tama (ball)
The 62mm diameter ball is large enough to hone ball control. The extra-large bevel fits perfectly into the Element's stall point. You'll experience a stable stall that feels more like it's "settled" than "riding."
Lotus is a kendama brand born on the West Coast of the United States. Its appeal lies in its sophisticated design, especially its Pro model.
