[Features of CHERRYWOOD]
Cherrywood (American black cherry) has long been loved as a high-quality wood native to North America.
It is a high-quality wood that has both a smooth texture and moderate hardness.
The biggest appeal is the dramatic change in color over time as you use it.
Immediately after processing, the color is pale pink to peach-brown, but it gradually darkens over the course of a few weeks, and after a year it has turned a deep amber color.
The rapid and clear color change creates a special feeling that cannot be experienced with other materials.

Its beautiful grain and luxurious feel make it comparable to the world's three most famous woods, along with walnut, mahogany, and teak.
Experience the rich aging of color over time.

[About 5th Shape]
The 5th Shape is larger, in line with current Kendama trends, with a 62mm ball size and a 75mm bowl width, further improving ease of use. We've deliberately eliminated distinctive design elements to create a classic and beautiful silhouette. It's a competitive shape that meets the standards of international competitions such as the Kendama World Cup (KWC), while still retaining its traditional charm.

[Comment from Sohta]
"I am very honored to be able to release a model that I designed. The 5th Shape is large and stable, making it easy to tap, and the good bounce makes it easy to do windmills and flips. The moon surface also stops easier than previous models, and the wide edges of each plate make it an all-around shape that is suitable for a variety of tricks.
The large and small plates are perfectly sized for ease of use. TOKYO KENDAMA is popular as an interior decoration, but this is a genuine kendama that is designed for practical use. Please try it out!

TOKYO KENDAMA is a domestic Kendama brand that utilizes the unique characteristics of wood itself, with the theme of "growing a Kendama."
