TOKYO KENDAMA BAMBOO TK-126 5th shape
TOKYO KENDAMA BAMBOO TK-126 5th shape
[Characteristics of bamboo]
Bamboo is a fast-growing plant that can be harvested in about three years and does not require much water, so it is beginning to be used in a wide range of products as a sustainable material.
Due to the nature of the plant, it cannot be made thick, so it is made by pressing together boards of different colors. This creates a beautiful striped pattern with a color contrast that cannot be achieved with other kendama.
It is a light and durable wood that produces a clear, high-pitched sound when struck. It is also hard and resistant to dents, so it can be used for a relatively long time compared to other woods.
[About 5th Shape]
The 5th Shape is larger, in line with current Kendama trends, with a 62mm ball size and a 75mm bowl width, further improving ease of use. We've deliberately eliminated distinctive design elements to create a classic and beautiful silhouette. It's a competitive shape that meets the standards of international competitions such as the Kendama World Cup (KWC), while still retaining its traditional charm.
